PEST CONTROL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

To Our Customers:

Our pest control technicians will arrive between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please be prepared by 8:00 a.m. or your service may need to be rescheduled.

All people and pets must vacate the premises for two (2) hours after treatment. Birds must vacate for a period of 24 hours. Fish tanks must be covered and have the filtration system unplugged for two (2) hours.

Yards must be mowed and watered prior to service. Wait three (3) days after service before re-watering. All pet toys and water/food bowls must be picked up prior to treatment.

PREPARATION FOR:

ANTS, PANTRY PESTS (WEEVILS AND GRANARY MOTHS), SILVERFISH

  1. All infested cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms MUST BE EMPTIED AND CLEANED PRIOR TO SERVICE (place dishes, pots and pans, etc. on the kitchen table or in the center of the floor in another room and cover with plastic.
  2. Move items such as furniture away from walls, empty all closets that are infested to allow for application.

COCKROACHES

  1. All infested cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms (especially those directly below kitchen and bathroom sinks) MUST BE EMPTIED AND CLEANED PRIOR TO SERVICE (place dishes, pots and pans, etc. on the kitchen table or in the center of the floor in another room and cover with plastic.
  2. Perimeter walls in the garage should be accessible for treatment.

EARWIGS, SOWBUGS, PILLBUGS, CRICKETS, TICKS

  1. Move items such as furniture away from walls, empty all closets that are infested to allow for application.

FLEAS, CARPET BEETLES

  1. ALL CARPETING MUST BE CLEAN, FRESHLY VACUUMED AND FREE OF SHOES, CLOTHES, CHILD OR PET TOYS, NEWSPAPERS, ETC. IT IS CRITICAL THAT WE ARE ABLE TO TREAT A MUCH CARPET AREA AS POSSIBLE.
  2. Pet bedding, throw rugs, bedspreads where pets are allows to lay, should be washed in hot soapy water prior to treatment.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

  1. YOU MUST ALLOW TWO (2) WEEKS FOR THE TREATMENT TO BE FULLY EFFECTIVE.
    RETREATMENTS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONLY THOSE AREAS WHERE ACTIVE INFESTATION EXISTS.
  2. Do not use a damp cloth or sponge on the inside of cabinets for at least 1 month after treatment.
  3. All counter tops should be washed with soapy water immediately after treatment.
  4. Flea treatment:
    • Vacuum daily thereafter for two (2) weeks (including linoleum, tile and wood floors);
    • DO NOT HAVE CARPETS STEAMED CLEANED UNTIL AFTER TOTAL CONTROL HAS BEEN ACHIEVED;
    • Dispose of vacuum cleaner bags after each vacuuming as the bags will be infested with fleas and flea eggs or larva;
    • Bathe pets with a flea shampoo at least once a week during flea season (June - November).
